Movies with some form of martial arts are just one of my favorite genres to see. In fact, one thing I always appreciate it when you are on flat-screen televisions in a fashionable restaurant or on an old TV to a party at home the old school Kung Fu flicks in the background. These films helped define a new generation of martial arts films, and while many older movies have earned the status of a classic, new martial arts film is often visually stunning.

Here is a list of some of my favorite martial arts films of the last decade.

A movie that I will certainly give a little love for Fearless Jet Lee. This film is based on the true story of a Chinese fighter during a dark period for the country. It is an incredibly inspiring film with stunning visual effects, and perhaps most beautiful films of Jet Li to date.

Another film that should not make a list of this kind, old school or is Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. This video shows the audience a new level of special effects for movies martial arts. Ang Lee published the big game with him and helped invent a new genre of film.

House of Flying Daggers is another film that made the cut for me. I received a PSP as a gift a few years ago, and this was the only movie that I had on them. The visual appearance of this movie on a PSP is still one of the most dynamic I’ve ever seen on screen.

Who could make a list of martial arts in 2000 and so far no mention of Kill Bill? Of course it is not a traditional martial arts film in itself, but it is a saga of revenge and clearly needs a lot of influence of the old films of Kurosawa.

Another movie I have mentioned, is Oldboy. It has turned a movie if you like psychological thriller mixed with some fantastic fight sequences, is a great way to see.

I do not regret the assessment that looks suspicious to me this film, NBC’s Heroes. Anyway, for those loyal to the current mess, the unbridled hero, I spent the money so that you keep your integrity and not to push to pay if you do not want to stay. Either fortunately or unfortunately, depending on the point of view, Push is generally better than what NBC concocted on Monday evening recently.

Allow me to my final word on the push / what the heroes of the first way. What do I think there was no borrowing “of intellectual property rights here?” I can not deny that at least in concept, there are certainly similarities that are hard to swallow this opportunity. As I mentioned in the previous article, I do not know who “borrowed” from whom and what were the intentions, but he is certainly trying to create the same universe. To continue, press the action is almost directly in the “action” in the first half of the third season of Heroes (I go into the rest of the review). Push In defense of the execution, tone, and gender of this film is a different animal from that of hero. This is about an action film with some paranormal associations. So no more talk on intellectual Thievery me on this subject, but in all fairness, I can later call Heroes in the review for the purpose of comparison, pure and simple.

I would also point out to this extent, Tim Kring and NBC do not seem to have hard feelings here from advertising push is in Heroes now and surprise, there was an announcement with NBC Heroes videos played before the movie began in the theater. I think that there is no doubt that had fans of Push Up On Heroes.

And now the feature presentation. Push is on Nick Gant, a guy a little unhappy with underdeveloped telekinetic powers, which is involved in a plot of the Division, an arm of the U.S. government tries to increase the proportion of the population with “building” as root Soldiers: Yes, as in a rapidly developing and forgotten subplot in the third Season of Heroes. Division has a serum to improve and expand the capabilities “of these people who have not developed to the serum of Heroes, which offers opportunities to help people be confused without them.

Division seems to have been for some time after the second World War, but the destruction of the only apparently viable version of this serum is apparently the only thing to bring, “the definition of the division have been.” You do not know the logic here, because the division has very well without a viable version of this serum for years. In addition, the center of it all seems, from a syringe filled with this serum recovered. It is a bit odd that the guy who developed the serum would not be the formula used to it or an idea in order to pursue new.

Division appears with a broad base of “Lights,” “Moonlighting” and “work trigger”. LEDs are people who can see the future, are people who have a sniffer highly developed sense of smell and the handle are people who the uncanny ability to slide over the heads of other thoughts.

Then, in the middle of a lot of quirks, illogical and insane, we get some scenes hijinx action and action is not frightening. It’s actually pretty good. Probably the strengths of the film Dakota Fanning and Chris Evans, the “hero” of history plays. They manage to produce some power in this rather entertaining mishmash in the darkness of a movie. They succeeded in the soil just enough things that most scandalous problems of logic of action at home is not really begin to beat until it is almost complete. Part of the problem is our hero, that they will do everything, from the visionaries of the division, always know that the future can be seen. To turn the lights ability to see their next train, they brew to foil a plot and not smart, which is the core of the law at end.

This leads to the view points cop Great Push. They use a way to the cheese end, several large action set-pieces. You see, since LEDs Division are as good for the future, if our main force is in a situation hopeless Division put easy to do and say it, because the “visionaries” not see our main characters die in this way, and they are afraid they see coming in the future to change in their favor. So we have some scenes where everything is painted in a corner with the disappearance of the image to speak, so. Lieber.

So what the hell is the push to his heart? It is an hour and 52 minutes tease packaged in an action movie. The film was a joy to go where he goes. Unfortunately, where it practically anywhere. The film does not end. Sometimes, when you say a movie that you: “Man, it’s going clear that the device for a sequel.” In the case of shear, one can not really say that because the film does not end. It literally stops before the story is over. It is not only set to continue, he would be needed to finish the story. to speak the damn thing stops mid-sentence. In my professional opinion, for it is a cheap ass thing for someone, the full price paid for the tickets. The Empire Strikes are the disadvantages of a resolution of more than pushing the story.

So I push cattle logic with the fact that a story is completely dissolved. Yes, there is an immediate danger to the smaller resolution of the main characters as the credits roll, but they still fall in the middle of the solution of the story to a halt, as it is. So while the film stands out as an announcement almost two hours reading, that we never see that box when bombs at the box office.

So what is my final verdict on this issue? The story has some holes in the plot are quite striking. The only real motivation for the main characters is a bit shrouded in a plot that is never resolved. The climax of the film does not really make much sense when it is done quite well in terms of the measure. There are a lot of shooting, shouting and running. The film is the hot for a mess, but not without pleasure. Not sure I can, moreover, that suggest, if. It is without doubt a beautiful Saturday afternoon, 12 clock matinee diversion. I would say that you want to save the money to spend on a note for this purpose and to spend a large popcorn and drinks at the premiere of Watchmen next month.

It is indeed a sad statement that it was to push as much fun as it was for all the problems. It’s just told me that the script was a little effort, far from a damn solid film if they tried a little harder. I hate pushing it, but I hate sloppy storytelling and the lack of an “end” of history.

Remember that scene from Toy Story when Buzz Light year ignoring the child (of Star Command), and began his old buddy, Woody, the cowboy? Now Western movies are a bit like a thing of the past – not, as you see a lot of Rio Bravo NOONS or too high in those days. What you see most frequently watched science fiction. There are a few of these a year more if the ones that count in the not so distant future. And let’s face it, this kind of film allows for other such use of the imagination (except fantasy)? What separates most of these films is not the category to which he belongs, is discussed post-apocalyptic alien invasion or the horror of outer space, but the way the idea. And there are only two kinds of sci-fi movies if you are at the base: the arrival of the psychological and action-adventure. Now, during the action sci-fi has been known to be very popular, to see how different films can be formed from the same basic idea.

Sunshine vs. Core
The idea: a cosmic body dies and humanity will die with her. A mission to save the world is.

Action: Planet Earth is to die in the database, because some really bad geology. Aaron Eckhart leading a team of elite soldiers and scientists into the heart of a nuclear device to restart is not dying pigeons. The core of science do not leave at the door, he keeps taunting not be possible to get the entire length of the film. It focuses on the special effects, action and Hilary Swank.

Psychology: Apparently, drove a Q-ball in the direction of the sun and he died. An elite team of soldiers and scientists together to put a payload into the sun, restarting the dying star. And how hard to swallow that some scenes, the film was a physicist at CERN as a consultant. Hey! a person can actually survive exposure to vacuum of space for everything a few seconds, but it is uncomfortable. The film focuses on the crew and the problems caused by the stress of the mission, the fascination with the sun and the claustrophobia that comes out in a spaceship than a year.

Results: In a fight between a man who is half burned and Aaron Eckhart in the observation room of the Icarus II, it is exposed directly to the brightness of the sun turning him into Two-Face

Event Horizon vs Solaris
The idea: give a supernatural presence of the crew of a ship hallucinations and confronted with the aspects of their psyche that they have to cope. Both in the presence of a large cosmic body Jupiter for Event Horizon and the planet Solaris to this movie with the same title.

Action to investigate: Event Horizon Sam Neill and Laurence Fishburne, a spaceship that disappeared seven years ago. Rescuers hallucinations of her fears and regret because they realize there is a presence on the ship. It is indeed ghosts in the room. The classic haunted house but instead of a spaceship. Decent action makes this more than your usual horror in space, but he finally gives overview of explosions and fist fights.

Psychology: Solaris (the one you prefer, or Soderbergh Tarkowski) sees a man named Kelvin (Kris in the original Chris in the 2002 version) come to a research station orbiting a strange planet. Here the team is followed by memories of the events. The films use science fiction as the creation and ignition is ultimately an exploration of the human spirit and emotion. The original movie is a classic, Soderbergh and his love for her guest to introduce a lesser (although still included on the average) version to new audiences (sarcasm).

Results: Solaris (the company) moved Lewis and Clark (the ship Event Horizon) in its gravitational field and he swallows.

The Moon vs Iceland
The idea: Everything is on cloning, whether for work space for solitude or the removal of organs. And in both cases, the clones recognize that they are clones (they seem a little affected, I wonder why Star Wars clones are never liked it).

Response: Well, Ewan McGregor and Scarlett Johansson is on the run with Michael Bay at the top. Must I say more? Now, their bodies for the unscrupulous rich Ewan McGregor and Scarlett Johansson, and they do not like it then they run to find a normal life. It is action, explosions, chases, special effects, and creates a sophisticated stuff just takes a few seconds … Wait! I can summarize in two words sum up Michael Bay.

Psychology: Sam Rockwell Mans bearing industrial minerals on the moon. Alone. Apart from his new close friend, Gerty, the computer. In the meeting itself, after a series of unfortunate events, he acknowledges, but he is a clone, and all the things he wants (his wife and daughter) are not heard. This is a one man show look Rockwell, Rockwell and Rockwell shows us the reaction of the same man at different stages of his life on the same knowledge.

Results: The three fugitives turn Rockwell McGregor and Johansson for a reward and live happily ever any of them know there is always at least two parts when it comes to jobs.

When there are a number of films that are part of a trilogy, the series loses steam in the rule by the third film. There is not much that a successful franchise trilogy have broken, but if it happens, it is a thing of beauty for both the public and the studios to benefit.

What follows is what I believe to be the greatest movie trilogies of all time. Harrison Ford and Steven Spielberg was a good thing with the first three Indiana Jones movies. Forget the fourth film, the first three Indiana Jones movies to create a truly epic trilogy.

A trilogy, published recently, but remain in the archives of the great films, the trilogy The Lord of the Rings. This set of three films will be defined, which means an epic trilogy by JRR Tolkien and will not be disappointed if he saw what Peter Jackson’s vision.

No list of movie trilogies would not be without mentioning the complete Star Wars saga. A New Hope, The Empire Strikes and disadvantages The Return of the Jedi are some of the greatest pieces of film work to be published in the 1970s and 80s.

Also a different period is the Godfather trilogy. Many consider the first two Godfather films to two of the greatest films of all time, there is no doubt that no matter how the third was (definitely the weakest of the three), would fall this trio as one of the best ever.

Another series of three films, which certainly is my list of the trilogy of dollars. The trio includes a Firstful dollars for a few dollars more and The Good, The Bad and The Ugly.

Thus, the films mentioned are currently the best of the best. Perhaps we need this list in the next Batman film from Christopher Nolan has been re-published.

I realize that 2009 is far from over, but since we are in the summer blockbuster season, I thought it would be an appropriate time to present a list of the 10 best films of 2009 (so far). There are some great ways that are affected Sherlock Holmes, then there may be some small changes, if everything is said and done, but overall I’m pretty sure this is about how things shake themselves. Without further ado, here are my picks for the best films of the year to date:

10 – I Love You Man – Paul Rudd in Anchorman fame and Jason Segel in Forgetting Sarah Marshall and TV’s How I Met Your Mother team in this classic buddy film about a man who discovered the commitment that he has none, get friends, to defend him at his wedding. Under the urging of her friend Peter Klaven (Rudd) goes on a series of events “man” in the search for a friend and find a better human potential. After several spectacular failures, he met with Sidney Fife (sailing), a painfully honest, and faithful friend. Although seemingly polar opposites of the pair is directly concerned, mainly because of a mutual love of the rock band Rush. However, the fiancée of Peter Zooey (Rashida Jones) is less than impressed to be Sidney’s influence on her husband.

The film is clever and consistently funny throughout, and has a strong support cast including Jon Favreau, JK Simmons, Jaime Pressley, Andy Sandberg and Jane Curtin. If you missed this in theaters sure to pick it up on DVD, because it is one of the funniest movies of the year.

9 – Coraline – One of the best films of the year is also one of the most unusual. Acting with the voice of Dakota Fanning, Teri Hatcher and Ian McShane is an animated film Coraline, who see quite different from the normal range you Pixar and DreamWorks. Fanning voices the main character discovers Coraline Jones a secret door in her house, goes through and discovers an alternate reality in real life. The animation is first-class act with stop-motion stereoscopic 3D, and combined with the voice, action and fascinating as the film is an instant classic that will be enjoyed for years by the children and adults.

8 – Watchmen – To be honest, when I heard this movie was coming out, I think he would have finished much higher on the list of best films of the year. This does not mean that I was disappointed – I really liked the movie great – but not quite as much as I thought.

Very different from typical superhero films like Spiderman and X-Men movie is definitely darker, Gritty side in the spirit of a film like Sin City. The film is not as action packed as I expected, and tends to wander and / or drag in parts. However, the quality is top notch and the story of Rorschach (Jackie Earle Hayley) is particularly good. For fans of the graphic novel this film could be something of a disappointment, but it is much better than big-budget movies such as GI Joe: Rise of the Cobra, and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.

7 – Public Enemies – Johnny Depp is to work one of the most versatile actors in Hollywood today. He plays a pirate crazy, demon barber, or in this case, the legendary gangster John Dillinger, he is always very credible. Public Enemies is a very good film, although it is not a challenge for Goodfellas or other movies of this caliber as one of the best gangster films of all time. As the film seems to fall between points Watchmen, but there is enough done to all times to keep from always too impatient. Christian Bale as FBI agent Melvin Purvis is not as good as Depp, but done a service.

Despite some minor shortcomings Public Enemies is still worth seeing at least once, and set-design and digital imaging in the film are as good as it goes.

6 – The Hurt Locker – Of all the movies on this list, with the possible exception of Coraline, The Hurt Locker is the most misunderstood. With names like Guy Pearce, Ralph Fiennes and even Evangeline Lily’s Lost TV star a decent, but do not get the movie for some reason the promotion he deserved. As emotional as it is exciting The Hurt Locker say offers viewers a glimpse into an elite unit that camped unenviable task (to disarm least) bombs in the midst of battle has. If you are among those who have heard of this movie are really to check if it hits DVD.

5 – Inglorious Bastards – There was a lot of hype around this film with director Quentin Tarantino and Holly A list includes actor Brad Pitt, the film in anticipation of high is not really a shock. Tarantino is back in a big way, after mixed reviews of his latest film “Death Proof, to kill with the story of a group of Jewish-American soldiers who sow terror in the ranks of the enemies brutal Nazis. Pitt is in the lead role as Lieutenant Aldo Raine excellent, and if the movie 2.5 hours long, you will never move. If you hurry you can still catch it in theaters. Otherwise, you must wait several months until he sees the light of day on DVD.

4 – Up – as good as Coraline, she could not dethrone the 800 pound gorilla Pixar for the title of best animated film of 2009. Pixar, a bit like Johnny Depp, just never seem to make a bad film, and have charged no matter how much praise on them for a movie, they somehow seem to outdo the other.

Ed Asner, who was as good as Lou Grant on television a few years ago, he proves still not lost its capacity to act, turning in an outstanding performance as the voice of Carl Fredricksen, exposing an irascible old man on an incredible adventure in the twilight of his made to meet life, a promise of his deceased wife. The film, like all Pixar films, a lot of humor, but also moments when you blink make you cry again. If you are a fan of Pixar movies, you have probably already seen it, but had you dismissed as a children’s film that it proved itself a disservice, and you should make sure that you pick up on DVD (or Blu-Ray) a day his hits stores.

3 – District 9 – Although there are many who are this film, the sci-fi claim the greatest of all time I would not go that far. However, there is an incredible and impressive debut director Neil Blomkamp. The film is very rare, since the beginning for the simple fact of creation. The story is set in South Africa, a refreshing departure from other foreign “invasion” of films that seem to always take place place on American soil. As you can see I have the word in quotation marks invasion. This is not your typical movie, where to defend the troops of the Army and some civilians extraordinary Earth from destruction by aliens unwelcome visitors. Instead, the foreign body is unknown, and they were forced into slums and isolated under the watchful eye of the army. I will not go into too many details, but suffice it to say that the film is very different than any science fiction movie I’ve ever seen.

2 – The cat – Although it might not have enjoyed the reviews from many other movies that list, the cat deserves his place because he’s come to one of the funniest comedy movies years ago. Ed Helms, Bradley Cooper and Zach Galifianakis outrageously funny film about two friends (and a little to his brother-in-law), to take their friend Doug to Las Vegas for his bachelor party. As so often in Las Vegas (in real life) things too fast by the hand and after a night of debauchery that the team wakes up and discovers sorry they lost their friend. Can to remember what happened, they must try to trace their steps from the night to try to find Doug and give it home in time for her wedding.

Remember to stay out until the end. The slide show during the credits is as funny as the main movie.

1 – Star Trek – With so many installments of the classic science fiction venerable-yet it seemed unlikely that would increase another chapter to the number one on the list of the 10 best films of 2009. But it is here. Why, you ask? Quite simply, this is not your father’s Star Trek. The series has been completely reinvented, much in the way that Batman Begins was a few years ago. It is darker, more violent and dark as all previous installments.

This film is actually a prequel to the others, and follows the adventures of a young James Kirk, explaining how he came to the Academy, met Spock, Bones, Scotty and the rest of the crew, and finally captain of the starship Enterprise.
